German Innovation Award 2022

Digitalization has reached the machine tool. The new iTENDO² contributed to this. The smart toolholder provides real-time data "closest to the part" and helps to quickly introduce optimal machining processes. The German Design Council has now honored this SCHUNK innovation with the German Innovation Award 2022.

IKU – German Innovation Prize for Climate and Environment 2022

The German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection awarded the innovative ADHESO gripping technology from SCHUNK with the IKU 2022. The bio-inspired, energy-saving method of handling facilitates sustainable automation processes in many areas. SCHUNK developed the technology together with the startup INNOCISE.

The flexible jaw quick-change chuck ROTA THW3 manages the balancing act between short set-up times and low maintenance intervals. Its overall package of functional design, flexibility, and sustainability also convinced the jury at the iF Design Award 2022.

World Market Leader Champion 2022

When an automotive supplier from Hanover is standing next to a Franconian manufacturer of hop products, it can only mean one thing: the German magazine WirtschaftsWoche has once again chosen the "500 secret world market leaders" of the year.
