SCHUNK has further developed its high-end VERO-S NSA plus palletizing module especially for automated machine tool loading and transferred it to the new NSA3 generation. The clamping module is part of the extensive SCHUNK VERO-S modular system for efficient workpiece clamping. The NSA3 is 100% compatible with the NSA plus, meaning they are 1:1 interchangeable. - Higher rigidity and dimensional stability
The high pull-down force on the NSA3 120 of 3,000 N or 10,000 N when the turbo function is activated, as well as higher dimensional stability of the module body, benefit rigidity. This means that higher tilting moments and lateral forces can be reliably absorbed with the NSA3. Depending on the application, the modules can be combined in any quantity. The repeat accuracy amounts to < 0.005 mm. Due to the conical fitting, the clamping rings can be fitted into the modules either eccentrically or with an angle of inclination, making it particularly easy. - Monitoring integrated by default
By default, all monitoring activities such as "Module opened" or "Module closed" are integrated in the module. The clamping rings rest on four flat surfaces on the outer diameter, which is controlled by a dynamic pressure monitoring. Due to the hermetic sealing as well as the stainless steel design, the module remains maintenance-free over its complete service life.
