The topic of machine tending is increasingly becoming a central component of competitive manufacturing. With the new hydraulic long stroke vise KONTEC KS-H-LH, SCHUNK is expanding its product portfolio in this area with an elementary component. With a clamping range from 20 to 345 mm and a hydraulic clamping stroke of 110 mm, workpieces of different sizes can be automatically inserted or exchanged. With a clamping force of 40 kN per jaw, the vise offers plenty of power so that workpieces can be clamped in a reliable process and protected against vibration, even with minimum clamping surfaces. Depending on customer requirements and the application, the long stroke vise can be equipped with or without a path measuring system and pneumatic media transfer into the system jaw.
