A TRIBOS SRE SO reduction insert is a laterally open adapter for clamping SCHUNK TRIBOS-RM polygonal toolholders. When exchanging tools, the operator combines the precision mounting with the appropriate TRIBOS SRE and inserts them together into the intended opening of the clamping device TRIBOS SVP. The TRIBOS SRE with side opening serves as an alternative for lateral insertion.
