The AGM-R compensation unit expands the AGM product family by adding a rotational degree of freedom, enabling the compensation of positional deviations in automated handling and joining processes. It is inserted between the robot and the end-of-arm tool, ensuring that safe gripping and removal remains possible, even when parts are twisted or not positioned precisely . Through rotational compensation, constrainted conditions are reduced and process deviations are compensated — an important prerequisite for reliable and repeatable automation processes.
