Magnetic load compensation

Optionally, the linear axis can be delivered with magnetic load compensation mounted parallel to the motor. A MagSpring® is used for this purpose. The magnetic spring compensates for a part of the weight forces during vertical movements of the linear motor. This can lead to greater dynamic response in certain cases of application.

Magnetic load compensation cannot be combined with the electric piston rod brake or pneumatic load compensation.

When using magnetic load compensation, one attachment kit and one MagSpring® (consisting of a stator and a rotor) are required per linear unit.
