The desired stroke of the linear axis can be entered at this point.

If the linear axis has been designed using the linear axis sizing assistant, the stroke is automatically adopted and may not be changed, as this affects the technical characteristics of the linear axis.

The unit can be secured either by using T-nuts or mounting strips.

The use of the axis with certain drive controllers depends on the selected measuring system. The recommended combinations have been tested and approved by SCHUNK.

The maximum length of the DRIVE-CLiQ measuring tape is 4 metres. Longer lengths can be achieved, for example, using the EnDat 2.2 measuring system and a signal converter in DRIVE-CLiQ.

If ‘other manufacturers’ is selected for the drive controller, the axis is configured by default with the HIPERFACE® SIL2/PLd measuring system.

The absolute position measurement systems are available with either HIPERFACE® or DRIVE-CLiQ interfaces.

Other measuring systems are available upon request.

This holding brake is pneumatically actuated.
Its function is activated in a non-ventilated state.
The holding brake is used to maintain the position of the linear axis in a currentless condition.
The holding brake is also suitable for applications in the field of machine safety.
In the case of a brake, this is installed on the side of the connecting cables.

The lubrication adapter enables connection to a lubrication system provided by the customer.
The lubrication adapter is always fitted opposite the electrical connections on the slide.
