Data carriers
The data carrier can be installed on all SCHUNK toolholders with SK, BT, HSK, and SCHUNK CAPTO mountings. It is used for data collection and clear classification of toolholders in a toolholder identification system. Energy and data that the data carrier requires are inductively coupled by the reading and writing head. The security of the data transmission is ensured by a plausibility test.

Os ciclos de leitura dos chips de dados são ilimitados. A distância máxima de leitura/gravação é de 2,5 mm. O número máximo de ciclos de programação a uma temperatura ambiente máxima de 70 °C é de 500.000 ciclos. O número máximo de ciclos de programação a uma temperatura ambiente máxima temperatura de 30 °C é de 1.000.000 ciclos.
As seguintes cabeças de leitura/gravação podem ser usadas para isso: BIS-C 300/302/305/306/325.
