CELSIO
Heat shrinking toolholder
CELSIO is a heat-shrinking system that is suitable for different shrinking devices. It uses induction heat from eddy currents to heat the heat shrinking toolholder, which clamps the tool shank firmly. The unit of toolholder and tool forms an almost homogeneous connection. The Cool Flow variant of the CELSIO toolholder has integrated cooling channels that can be closed with M3 screws to direct the coolant directly to the cutting edge of the tool. The Dual Contact version offers a simultaneous taper and flat work surface for machines with a corresponding interface, closing the gap between the tool flange and the spindle face.
Description
Advantages – Your benefits
- High clamping forces
Secure and friction-locked clamping for transmission of high torques - Good ratio between radial rigidity and interfering contour
High machine-cutting performance, faster machining times and increased productivity are made possible - Toolholder for powerful metal cutting
High-speed machining at machine speeds of up to 50,000 RPM and for use of HSS and HM tools - Run-out accuracy ≤ 0.003 mm measured according to DIN 69882-8 in the clamping bore
Optimal surface results, high precision machining and safe processes due to a uniform cutting action and highest repeatability - Universally applicable
Suitable for use in milling, finish milling, drilling or HSC machining - Dynamic form
With long chucks, the reinforced shank offers an effective compromise between slimness and sturdiness - High level of flexibility
