SCHUNK’s Austrian branch was founded in 2000 and has grown steadily ever since. Key milestones include the construction of the new office building with the Tec-Center in Allhaming in 2014, as well as the expansion of the sales territory to include the eastern Adriatic region in 2016. In early 2024, we opened our robot application center CoLab. Another highlight is the biennial Robotics Technology Days event - “Gripping Meets Robotics.” First held in 2015, the event has become an established platform for professional exchange, showcasing innovative solutions and implemented applications.

At the SCHUNK CoLab we work together with customers to develop and validate customized automation solutions under realistic operating conditions. This makes it easier for our customers to start using automation.
Our experts assess feasibility, select the right components and guide the entire process - from the initial idea to successful implementation and beyond.
During the Robotics Technology Days we are collaborating with our partners to present applications that have already been successfully implemented in the market, focusing on the areas of robot-assisted production automation. Together we discuss how manufacturing processes can be designed and automated to be more cost- and resource-efficient by using future-proof technologies. This event is held every two years.
