2025 is expected to be a record year in terms of training. For this reason, the range of study and training opportunities is to be significantly expanded this year. New content trends are also emerging: In addition to IT and AI, the focus will be on technical topics such as mechatronics and electrical engineering. The tendency here is towards dual study options. "We always have our students' personal development goals in mind. This year, for example, we are making it possible for one of our students to transfer to the new "Applied Artificial Intelligence" course at Heilbronn University," reports Andreas Müller, Head of Training at SCHUNK. This approach helps the Head of Training to ensure that the company keeps its finger on the pulse while having current trends reflected directly in the training program.
The first OPEN HOUSE training night took place at the SCHUNK training center on May 3, 2024. Roughly 200 guests took advantage of the opportunity well into the late evening. Interested students, parents and other guests were given comprehensive insight into the many opportunities for internships, apprenticeships or study programs at SCHUNK. A variety of interactive stations and presentations engaged the visitors and provided informative insight into the world of training and studying. The opportunity for direct exchanges and the chance to ask questions personally to the apprentices, students and trainers proved especially valuable. It allowed the guests to experience the SCHUNK corporate culture first hand.
