Options and special information

Widely compatible power chuck
The ROTA TP power chuck from SCHUNK is equipped with an integrated pneumatic cylinder. Via a distributor ring, these chucks can be opened and closed in the event of shutdown using a special air supply system. ROTA TP power chucks are especially suitable for small lathes that do not have a hydraulic clamping cylinder, but are to be operated via a fluid medium. But the chuck is also very useful in automation technology.

Thanks to the integrated pneumatic cylinder, the ROTA TP power chuck can also be used in stationary applications on milling/turning centers. For this, the ROTA TP is expanded with a base plate, and can then be mounted on the machine tables as ROTA TPS.
