SLD Mini-Midi

The new SLD Mini and SLD Midi linear direct-drive axes are compact axes designed for assembly and high-performance automation. They enable precise positioning and short cycle times and can be integrated into machine designs and existing electronic architectures in a space-saving configuration.

Variants of the SCHUNK axis systems

Line gantries

Line gantries serve as a solution for a wide variety of pick-and-place tasks in the XZ direction. They are mainly used as handling systems for picking up and placing components in assembly automation and as loading gantries for feeding machine tools.

Room gantries

Room gantries serve as a solution for a wide variety of handling tasks in the XYZ direction. They are used in machine loading processes, orderly parts supply and interlinking, but also for packaging and palletizing. Room gantries are used when longer travel distances and higher load capacities are required.
