De ROTA NCML is een combinatie van een handmatige klauwplaat en een magnetische klauwplaat. De handmatige klauwplaat dient voor het centreren van het werkstuk op de klauwplaat en klemt het werkstuk vervolgens zonder vervorming en trillingen via de magnetische klauwplaat. Dubbele AlNiCo-magneten zijn geïntegreerd in de magnetische klauwplaat, die het mogelijk maken om het werkstuk na de bewerking te demagnetiseren. - De hybride klauwplaat wordt aangestuurd via een besturingseenheid of direct via de machinebesturing. Het werkstuk kan ook met behulp van poolverlengingen uit de klauwplaat worden gehesen en vervolgens van drie zijden worden gefreesd.
