Our standard centric grippers are available as grippers for small components, universal and sealed grippers with three fingers for safe and precise O.D. and I.D. gripping of workpieces with weights ranging from a few grams to more than 100 kilograms. They are suitable for use in many applications, from the cleanroom to potentially explosive work areas and normal ambient conditions to high-temperature applications. The ability to combine a gripper with sensor systems, product-specific gripper fingers or intermediate jaws offers increased productivity. Furthermore, innovative design tweaks, such as multi-tooth guidance, are combined with state-of-the-art production technology to ensure robust reliability, and therefore safe investments with a long service life.
The mechanical gripping force maintenance device ensures that a minimum clamping force will be applied even if there is a drop in pressure. In the AS/S variant this acts as a closing force, in the IS variant as an opening force. Besides this, gripping force maintenance can be used to increase gripping force or for single actuated gripping.
The ambient temperature describes the temperature of the air or the direct operating environment in which a gripper is operated (and not the workpiece temperature, as this is normally significantly higher than the ambient temperature).We also offer special solutions for ambient temperatures above 130 °C.
