CES is an electric tool changer that is being specially developed for applications in electrified production environments. The aim is to provide a solution that works fully electrically, even with high payloads, and can be integrated into modern production architectures without any pneumatic infrastructure.
The CES is based on a proven mechanical platform and its geometry is based on the CPS pneumatic tool changer, thus enabling the transfer of existing integration concepts.

Karosserieschweißen in der Automobilproduktion mit CES
In der automatisierten Karosseriefertigung unterstützt der CES den Einsatz von Schweißzangen in zunehmend elektrifizierten Produktionslinien. Als elektrischer Werkzeugwechsler ermöglicht er den Betrieb ohne Druckluftversorgung und trägt zu einer konsistenten, elektrischen Systemarchitektur bei.
Durch die direkte Integration in die Netzwerktopologie reduziert sich der Integrationsaufwand. Gleichzeitig können auch bei Anwendungen wie dem Karosserieschweißen hohe Traglasten sicher gehandhabt und unterschiedliche End-of-Arm-Tools flexibel eingesetzt werden.
