Spring-loaded 3-jaw clamping force blocks
Spring-loaded 3-jaw clamping force blocks in compact design with high clamping forces. These are available with standard jaw stroke and long stroke.
Description
Advantages – Your benefits
- 3-jaw clamping force blocks for cylindrical workpieces
This reduces deformation during clamping, especially with thin-walled workpieces - Spring-loaded clamping force blocks
Media-independent workpiece clamping, especially for tombstone or storage applications - Patented monitoring of the base jaw position via dynamic pressure
Know whether the vise is open or clamped - Workpiece presence control through the base jaw
Enables automated loading of the clamping force block - Precision wedge hook clamping force block for top-quality demands
Allows excellent machining results - Square design with ideal external contour
Ideal for 6-sided machining in two set-ups with the best lateral accessibility - High efficiency of the wedge hook system
Process-reliable clamping due to high clamping forces - Base jaws with tongue and groove and fine serration as a dual interface as standard
High flexibility of system jaws - Optimal jaw support due to the use of a very long base jaw guidance
Allows high clamping forces at a long service life - All sides of the functional parts are hardened and ground
Ensures a long service life
Options and special information
- Spring-loaded powerhouses for tombstone and storage solutions now also as 3-jaw vises
Whereas TANDEM KRF3 previously stood for high-performance 2-jaw clamping force blocks for tombstone and accumulator solutions, SCHUNK is now expanding the modular system of spring-loaded clamping force blocks with TANDEM KRF3 to include 3-jaw clamping force blocks. These clamping force blocks make it possible for cylindrical workpieces to now be clamped with less deformation without the need for special chuck jaws and with better force distribution. - The great advantage of these compact clamping devices is that the clamping force is fully maintained even after complete removal of the compressed air. Another important aspect is the compatibility of the most common designs, so that existing KSF3 vises can be replaced 1:1 by the KRF3 vises.
