ROTA DFF
Rotary finger chucks
3-turning-finger power chuck with very high axial clamping force for clamping workpieces that cannot be radially clamped.
Description
Advantages – Your benefits
- For purely axial clamping of workpieces
No radial clamping components that exert forces on the workpiece - Workpiece contacting components can be exchanged
Optimal adaptation to new clamping tasks - Optional air control available for workpiece locating surface
Monitoring for safe workpiece clamping in large series production - Very good seal against penetration of chips and coolant
Long maintenance intervals and constant clamping forces at the workpiece - Standard hydraulic cylinder is sufficient for chuck actuation
Existing clamping cylinder on the machine can generally be used - All sides of the functional parts are hardened and ground
Ensures a long service life
Options and special information
- Gentle clamping of deformation-sensitive or geometrically complex workpieces
ROTA DFF rotary finger chucks are ideal for clamping of workpieces via a purely axial clamping finger against a defined workpiece stop. It is important that the workpiece is centered in the turning center prior to axial clamping (e.g. via centering jaws or a separate centering device). The workpiece is then clamped only axially, with no radial clamping components. This achieves maximum axial run-out accuracy.
