Options and special information
- Use of radio sensor system RSS
Receiver RSS-R1 can receive the signals of transmitter RSS-T2. One receiver and one antenna are required per transmitter. - Use of the RSS radio sensor system in the USA and Canada
In the USA and Canada, operating the radio sensor system is only permitted with FCC/IC approval. This FCC/IC approval is available for the RSS-T2-US/CA transmitter and the RSS-R1 receiver. Operating the RSS-T2 variant is not permitted in the USA and Canada. - Lifespan of the batteries integrated in the transmitter
The information concerning the typical lifespan of the battery was determined based on the following assumptions: 1-shift operation, one signal transmission per second, watchdog set to 1 second. - Spark energy and its propagation
The spread of the radio signal can be affected by many factors. You can find important information on this in the operating manual. The strength of the radio signal can be read off from the receiver via an LED.
