This is the max. sum of all static loads that are permitted to act on the storage system to ensure error-free functioning.

For the passive variant, the center of gravity of the tool must be within the permissible range according to the diagram. In addition, the occurring moments must not exceed the permissible values.

General notes about the series
Harsh environmental conditions
Please note that use under harsh environmental conditions (e.g. in the coolant area, cast and grinding dust) can considerably reduce the service life of the units, and we will not take over any warranty. However, in many cases we can find a solution. Please contact us for assistance.
Actuation (active variant only)
Locking takes place via a pre-loaded spring; pneumatics can also be used as an option (see "Turbo"). Active unlocking is performed using compressed air.
Pull-down force
The pull-down force describes the force with which the storage bolt is actively retracted into the storage module. A distinction is made between spring pull-down force and turbo pull-down force (spring + compressed air).
Turbo
In order to increase the pull-down force, the SWM-B -V is additionally pressurized with compressed air during locking. This turbo function increases the pull-down force by up to a factor of four as compared to locking merely based on spring force.
