Toolholder configuration

Projecting length (L1) [mm]
Projecting length of the toolholder from the machine spindle.

The dimensions can be extended up to a specified limit.

Note:
The modification of the lengths requires specially manufactured products, which results in an increase in production costs.
Body diameter length (L4) (Dependent on L1) [mm]

The dimensions can be extended up to a specified limit.

Note:
The length (L4) can only be changed after the projecting length (L1) has been changed.
Maximum clamping length (L2) (Dependent on L4) [mm]
Corresponds to the maximum insertion depth of the tool shank in the clamping bore.

The dimensions can be extended up to a specified limit.

Note:
The clamping length (L2) can only be changed after the length (L4) has been changed.
Option chip drilling
Subsequent or additional insertion of a chip hole in the toolholder according to the relevant interface standard.

A chip hole is required to accommodate a data carrier chip.
Mounting the data carrier chip option
The data carrier is used for data collection and clear classification of toolholders in a toolholder identification system.

The first entry describes the type code of the chip (e.g. BIS-C-122-04/L).
The second specification describes the maximum memory capacity of the chip (e.g. 511 bytes)
Option Zero (concentricity adjustment)
The run-out error of the toolholder, tool and machine spindle can be compensated using four lateral set-screws. This means an adjustable run-out accuracy of almost 0 µm is possible.
Option Cool-Flow (Optimal tool edge cooling)
"Cool Flow" enables peripheral cooling using cooling channels in the wall of the clamping bore (D1). The coolant is fed directly to the cutting edge of the tool
Option mount coolant pipe
Coolant tubes prevent contamination of the machine spindle and protect the sealing system. They are used for transfer/optimization of the internal coolant supply of HSK clamping devices.
Option colour marking
The gripper groove of the toolholder interface can be provided with color coding, which is selected from a predefined color palette.

Color coding makes quick identification and organization of tools and toolholders easier.

Color coding can be used to assign toolholders to different production lines, for example.
TENDO actuation key (for clamping the hydraulic Toolholder)
Hexagon socket wrench with cross handle for clamping and unclamping tool shanks in hydraulic expansion toolholders.

If this is selected, the quantity corresponds to the order quantity.
However, the actuation key is deselected by default.
Declaration of Conformity
The supplied document confirms in writing that the delivered products have been manufactured and tested in accordance with valid documents (drawings, standards, specifications, approved deviations).

Balancing protocol
In the documents supplied, both the setting parameters of the balancing process and the measurement results of the residual imbalance of each individual toolholder are recorded.
