True to the motto “Hand in hand for tomorrow,“ the company welcomes the new colleagues into the SCHUNK family. In the first week of September, the training departments have developed an extensive onboarding program to welcome the apprentices and students. It is the aim, to give the young people a sense of being part of a strong community right from the start. That is why the first week includes numerous team-building activities, such as a collaborative plastic art project.

International top apprentices

The fact that SCHUNK is one of Germany’s top training companies is reflected by the excellent examination results of the apprentices. They are often among the best of their year. SCHUNK talents also achieve success in vocational competitions at both national and international levels: Julian Gelo, now a fully trained cutting machine operator, won the bronze medal at the German CNC Turning Championships in 2023 and will now represent Germany at the WorldSkills Championship in Lyon in September.
