The electric drive consists of a primary part (motor coil) and a secondary part (permanent magnets). The phase and the amplitude of the applied electrical current are regulated in the controller. Depending on the application, this sets the profile fitted with magnets in motion or moves the slides of the axis.

Design of the linear direct axis
The linear direct axis SLD consists of a motor slide with an integrated primary component and a measuring system. The secondary component consists of permanent magnets and is integrated into the aluminum extruded profile of the linear axis.

Modular transducer system
The linear axis is available with different path measuring systems. The incremental path measuring system has a 1Vss interface. The absolute path measuring systems are optionally available with the HIPERFACE®, HIPERFACE DSL®, DRIVE-CLiQ or EnDat 2.2 interfaces. Other interfaces are available on request.

Pneumatische vasthoudrem
De lineaire as kan geleverd worden met een veiligheidshoudrem. Deze vasthoudrem wordt pneumatisch aangedreven. De werking ervan wordt geactiveerd in een niet-geventileerde toestand. De vasthoudrem wordt gebruikt om de positie van de lineaire as in een stroomloze toestand te behouden. De houdrem is ook geschikt voor toepassingen op het gebied van machineveiligheid. Kabelrups
Bijpassende kabelrupsen zijn verkrijgbaar als accessoires voor de lineaire assen. (Vergelijkbaar met de afbeelding). Deze zijn aangepaste aan de respectieve slag, worden geleverd inclusief bevestigingsmateriaal en worden, indien nodig, vooraf gemonteerd.

Afdekband
De lineaire as kan uitgerust geleverd worden met een afdekband. Dit voorkomt dat er vuil in de binnenkant van de as komt en tegelijkertijd dat er vet ontsnapt wanneer de as horizontaal of verticaal wordt gemonteerd.

UL-certificering
De motor van de lineaire directe as is standaard UL-gecertificeerd. Het UL-veiligheidsmerk maakt snelle markttoegang tot Noord-Amerika en andere landen mogelijk. UL-certificaten worden per product toegekend en periodiek door UL herzien. Niet alleen het eindproduct wordt getest, maar ook de fabricage van het product.
Zware uitvoering/hogesnelheidsvariant
De SLD-as is verkrijgbaar in een heavy-dutyversie voor toepassingen met hogere eisen op het gebied van basisbelastbaarheid, stijfheid en smeerintervallen. Vanaf maat SLD 22 wordt de profielrail vervangen door een grotere versie met hogere basisbelastingen en worden zowel het geëxtrudeerde profiel als de geleiders dienovereenkomstig aangepast.
Op basis van de heavy-dutyversie is er een hogesnelheidsvariant met snelheden tot 10 m/s beschikbaar.
