FPS

Flexible position sensor
The FPS system is used to determine up to five jaw positions of a SCHUNK gripper. For this purpose, the magnetic sensor of the FPS system detects a magnet installed in the gripper.
The FPS system can be teached in five areas of the gripper and digitally displays the area in which the current jaw position is located.

Optionen und spezielle Informationen

  • Störquellen
    Sensoren können in ihrer Funktion durch fremde Magnetfelder in ihrer unmittelbaren Umgebung beeinflusst werden. Störende Magnetfelder können z. B. erzeugt werden durch: Motoren, elektrisches Schweißen, Permanentmagnete, sich magnetisierende Materialien (sog. Weichmagnete) wie z. B. Innensechskantschlüssel, Späne etc.
  • Auflösung des FPS-Systems
    Die Auflösung ist die minimale Hubdifferenz, die nötig ist, um zwei Signale sicher zu unterscheiden. Das FPS-System erreicht in Verbindung mit den meisten SCHUNK-Greifern eine Auflösung von 1-3% eines Backenhubes. Bei einigen Greifern werden bauartbedingt nur 10% Auflösung erreicht.   • Software
    Die Software „FPS-Controller“ ist nur mit Windows 7 oder älteren Windows-Versionen kompatibel.
