TRIBOS-Mini établit de nouvelles références dans le micro-usinage. Le système de serrage polygonal est utilisé dans l'usinage filigrane de boîtiers, moules, électrodes et gravures en technique médicale et électrique, ainsi que dans l'industrie horlogère ou dans la fabrication de moules. TRIBOS-Mini permet de serrer des queues d'outils extrêmement petites, à partir de Ø 0,3 mm, ce qui signifie qu'il n'est plus nécessaire de fabriquer des outils spéciaux compliqués.
