L'azionamento elettrico è costituito da un elemento primario (avvolgimenti del motore) e da un elemento secondario (magneti permanenti). Le fasi e le ampiezze della corrente elettrica creata sono regolate nel controller. A seconda dell'applicazione, mette in movimento il profilo dotato di magneti o sposta le slitte dell'asse.

Design of the linear direct axis
The linear direct axis SLD consists of a motor slide with an integrated primary component and a measuring system. The secondary component consists of permanent magnets and is integrated into the aluminum extruded profile of the linear axis.

Modular transducer system
The linear axis is available with different path measuring systems. The incremental path measuring system has a 1Vss interface. The absolute path measuring systems are optionally available with the HIPERFACE®, HIPERFACE DSL®, DRIVE-CLiQ or EnDat 2.2 interfaces. Other interfaces are available on request.

Pneumatic holding brake
Optionally, the linear axis can be delivered with a safety holding brake. This holding brake is pneumatically actuated. Its function is activated in a non-ventilated state. The holding brake is used to maintain the position of the linear axis in a currentless condition. The holding brake is also suitable for applications in the field of machine safety. Optional ist die Linearachse mit einem Abdeckband ausgestattet lieferbar. Dieses verhindert das Eindringen von Schmutz in das Innere der Achse und zeitgleich das Austreten von Fett bei horizontalem oder senkrechtem Aufbau.

Il motore dell'asse diretto lineare è certificato UL come standard. Il marchio di sicurezza UL consente un rapido accesso al mercato del Nord America e di altri paesi. Le certificazioni UL vengono assegnate in base al prodotto e riviste periodicamente da UL. Non viene testato solo il prodotto finale, ma anche la fabbricazione del prodotto.
Versione per impieghi gravosi/variante ad alta velocità
L'asse SLD è disponibile in una versione per impieghi gravosi per applicazioni con requisiti più elevati in termini di capacità di carico, rigidità e intervalli di lubrificazione. A partire dalla misura SLD 22, la guida profilata viene sostituita da una versione più grande con valori di carico di base più elevati e sia il profilo estruso che le guide vengono adattati di conseguenza.
Sulla base della versione per impieghi gravosi è disponibile una variante ad alta velocità con velocità fino a 10 m/s.
