手動チェンジシステム （CMS） は、チェンジヘッド （CMS-K） およびチェンジアダプター （CMS-A） から構成されます。ハンドレバーを閉じると、ピンを使ってチェンジヘッドとチェンジアダプターの間に遊びのないフォームフィットロックがかかるため、追加の工具を必要としません。ハンドレバーを開くとシステムのロックが解除され、チェンジアダプターを取り外すことができます。エンドエフェクターは、内蔵の空気圧フィードスルーを介して圧縮空気または真空を供給できます。また、同じ構造で空気圧のフィードスルーとモニタリングオプションがないタイプ（CMS-B）もあります。いずれのタイプでも、オプションのモジュールにより、電気信号や流体などの他の媒体を供給できます。
