Important notes on system design
A complete system comprises a matrix plate and a vacuum unit. In addition to the vacuum on/off and fill level monitoring functions, the vacuum unit from SCHUNK also includes system monitoring using an integrated vacuum switch that can be synchronized with the machine control system on site via the interface. If there is a loss of clamping force, the machining process can be automatically interrupted.
