Pendulum jaws supporting jaws
Pendulum jaws supporting jaws
The pendulum block supporting jaw or the pendulum attachment supporting jaw are part of the pendulum jaw. This consists of a supporting jaw with bearing bolts, a pendulum body and clamping inserts.
The pendulum jaws allow for cost-effective and reliable clamping of thin-walled and deformation-prone workpieces. To clamp another workpiece diameter, the pendulum bodies are simply changed out.

Description
Advantages – Your benefits
- Flexible jaws for efficient solutions
Within the shortest amount of time, conventional 3-jaw chucks can be cost-efficiently converted into six-point clamping - Special designs with pendulum jaws
Pendulum jaws offer a variety of options for mastering unusual clamping tasks with confidence
Options and special information
- 6-point pendulum
Pendulum jaws are used for clamping thin-walled workpieces. Deformation of the workpiece is significantly reduced by the uniform arrangement of the clamping positions on the perimeter (6 x 60°). - 12-point pendulum
For workpieces with even thinner walls, we recommend pendulum jaws with 12 clamping points. Our technical consultants use calculation programs to determine whether a 6-point or a 12-point pendulum should be used.
