“Next Level SME“ initiative

The "Next Level SME" initiative is part of the digital strategy spearheaded by Germany’s Federal Ministries for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and Education and research (BMBF). It was launched by Henrik A. Schunk, Chairman of Plattform Industrie 4.0 and the Chairman of the Board of SCHUNK SE & Co. KG, to provide as many medium-sized companies as possible with an opportunity to collaboratively tackle the challenges of digitalization. A key focus is on leveraging artificial intelligence to achieve quick wins and unlock new business opportunities. The initiative prepares the SME for integrating digital technologies and participating in shared data spaces like Manufacturing-X.
