Machine Tending 101

For the second year in a row, SCHUNK participated in the AI House Davos as part of the World Economic Forum. The goal was to promote knowledge exchange on artificial intelligence (AI), share experiences, and actively shape developments in applied AI.

With the KONTEC KSX-E, SCHUNK is launching the first 100 percent electrically driven 5-axis vise with infinitely programmable clamping stroke – another future-ready component for the digitalized and energy-efficient production.

SCHUNK is further expanding the automation expertise of its subsidiaries in Spain and Poland with new robot application centers. Here, the technology pioneer implements its customers' automation steps individually and close to reality — ensuring a risk-free start and more efficient production processes.

Driving digital transformation and enhancing competitiveness – with this goal in mind, companies gathered on November 18, 2024, in Stuttgart for the first SME Day. The event was organized by Next Level Mittelstand (NLM), an initiative launched by Henrik A. Schunk, Chairman of the Steering Committee of Plattform Industrie 4.0, to further strengthen digital competencies in the industry.
