Le fonctionnement des détecteurs peut être influencé par des champs magnétiques étrangers à proximité. Les champs magnétiques perturbants peuvent être créés par : des moteurs, la soudure électrique, des aimants permanents ou des matériaux magnétisés (aimants doux), tels que les clés Allen, les copeaux, etc. - Sécurité pour les applications ATEX
Le détecteur doit être équipé d'un fusible adapté au courant indiqué. Le pouvoir de coupure du fusible doit être adapté au courant de court-circuit possible de la source d'alimentation. - Rallonge de câble pour applications ATEX
Dans le cas du MMS(K) 22-PI1...EX, le connecteur utilisé doit être dans une zone non explosive ou dans un boîtier certifié conforme à la norme EN 60079-0, ou dans un boîtier certifiée selon la norme EN 60079-31.
