The electric drive consists of a primary part (motor coil) and a secondary part (permanent magnets). The phase and the amplitude of the applied electrical current are regulated in the controller. Depending on the application, this sets the profile fitted with magnets in motion or moves the slides of the axis.

Design of the linear direct axis
The linear direct axis SLD consists of a motor slide with an integrated primary component and a measuring system. The secondary component consists of permanent magnets and is integrated into the aluminum extruded profile of the linear axis.

Modular transducer system
The linear axis is available with different path measuring systems. The incremental path measuring system has a 1Vss interface. The absolute path measuring systems are optionally available with the HIPERFACE®, HIPERFACE DSL®, DRIVE-CLiQ or EnDat 2.2 interfaces. Other interfaces are available on request.

O motor do eixo linear direto tem certificação UL como padrão. A marca de segurança UL permite acesso rápido ao mercado da América do Norte e de outros países. As certificações UL são concedidas produto por produto e são revisadas periodicamente pela UL. Não apenas o produto final é testado, mas também a fabricação do produto.
Versão reforçada/variante de alta velocidade
O eixo SLD está disponível em uma versão reforçada para aplicações com requisitos mais exigentes em termos de capacidade de carga básica, rigidez e intervalos de lubrificação. A partir do tamanho SLD 22, o trilho perfilado é substituído por uma versão maior com classificações de carga básica mais elevadas, e tanto o perfil extrudado quanto as corrediças são adaptadas em conformidade.
A partir da versão heavy-duty, também está disponível uma variante de alta velocidade, com velocidades de até 10 m/s.
