Data carriers
The data carrier can be installed on all SCHUNK toolholders with SK, BT, HSK, and SCHUNK CAPTO mountings. It is used for data collection and clear classification of toolholders in a toolholder identification system. Energy and data that the data carrier requires are inductively coupled by the reading and writing head. The security of the data transmission is ensured by a plausibility test.

Die Lesezyklen der Datenträger sind unbegrenzt, wobei der maximale Schreib-/Leseabstand bei 2,5 mm liegt. Die maximale Anzahl der Programmierzyklen bei einer maximalen Umgebungstemperatur von 70 °C beträgt 500.000 Zyklen. Die maximale Anzahl der Programmierzyklen bei einer maximalen Umgebungstemperatur von 30 °C beträgt 1.000.000 Zyklen.
Folgende Schreib-/Leseköpfe können hierfür verwendet werden: BIS-C 300/302/305/306/325.
