Le BSWS-R se compose d'un mors à changement rapide, qui est connecté au doigt de pince à changer, et de deux axes, qui sont fixées au mors de base de la pince. La mécanisme de verrouillage permet le changement rapide des doigts de pince. Les doigts de pince sont changés par une mis en place dans le rack de dépose, ce qui désactive le mécanisme de verrouillage. Par conséquent, le doigt de pince reste dans le rack de dépose lorsque la pince va vers le haut. Pour chaque doigt de pince, il faut deux axes (= 1 kit BSWS-AR), un mors à changement rapide (BSWS-BR) et un rack de dépose (BSWS-SR).

De opslagstations in de maten 50-100 zijn ook geschikt voor gebruik met cobots zonder deze te overbelasten dankzij hun geïntegreerde elastische bevestiging. Vanaf maat 125 worden de opslagstations geconfigureerd zonder elastische bevestiging.

Grijpvingerwissel in 3 stappen
Na het voorpositioneren vindt de eigenlijke wissel plaats door naar het opslagstation te gaan. Tijdens het terugtrekken wordt het vergrendelingsmechanisme geactiveerd. Hierdoor blijft de grijpervinger in het opslagstation wanneer deze naar boven wordt uitgeschoven.
