Power chuck with integrated pneumatic cylinder
Pneumatic power lathe chucks from SCHUNK are the perfect alternative if the chuck is not to be actuated manually or via hydraulics. The chucks have an integrated pneumatic cylinder, via which the chuck can be actuated in the event of a shutdown. The power lathe chucks have an extremely large chuck bore, which is perfect for machining large, long pipes.
The integrated clamping cylinder maximizes the through hole, making it ideal for machining pipes. ROTA TP/TB impress with very high clamping forces from a standard air pressure of 6 bar. The useable pressure range is between 3 and 8 bar. Many chuck sizes with different through holes are available as standard: for outer diameters 125 – 1,200 mm
