Le principe du mandrin électrique ROTA TB2-LH est basé sur l'obtention d'une grande course de mors rapide en combinaison avec une force de serrage maximale pour une faible consommation d'air. Ceci est obtenu grâce à une course de serrage rapide (à gauche) basée sur deux rapports de transmission différents du corps du mandrin. Grâce à un vérin pneumatique intégré et à une bague de distribution, le mandrin peut être actionné rapidement et facilement. Cependant, ces mandrins électriques ne servent qu'au serrage extérieur ! - En outre, un revêtement anti-corrosion efficace appliqué sur les principaux composants fonctionnels protège de manière significative le SCHUNK ROTA TB2-LH, ce qui augmente la durée de vie du mandrin.
