Het max. toelaatbare belastingsmoment (M = Fx*l) als gevolg van de vingerlengte (l), de kracht (Fx) en de optredende belastingen tijdens de toepassing ten gevolge van versnellingen/koppels mag niet worden overschreden. Hetzelfde geldt voor de max. toegestane kracht Fx. Los daarvan moet rekening worden gehouden met de max. toegestane vingerlengte en de toelaatbare belastingswaarden voor de gebruikte grijper.
